"We have been working with Faith and Sam Kern, owners of “Tents For Rent” for the last three years at the Bayhealth Hospital Fair held in Mildred, Delaware, for different types of inflatables. We have always been very pleased with the merchandise, service and expertise of the staff, which come to set up and take down. Our last Hospital Fair was held last Saturday, May 21, 2011, and as usual, we were very satisfied with everything. The staff that set up, Donny and Jason, were excellent. They took care of everything for us and were there to help with any problems we might encounter. They were very personable young men. It was a pleasure to work with them. "My wife and I have had the pleasure for the past eight years of dealing with Faith and Sam Kern and their rental operation, Tents 4 Rent. We had no experience in renting tents and we have a historic residence and farm in Centreville, Maryland where we have entertained small groups of friends for 25 years. Eight years ago we decided to hold some university fundraising events for the alumni of both my wife’s university, Marshall University, and mine, Cornell University. We picked Tents 4 Rent out of the phone book and called them, first to educate us on what to do for groups of 100 or more, and they were most helpful teaching us the pitfalls of outdoor events, and how to avoid them."
"Our first event was for 100 which included a single tent and two inflatable games, plus tables, chairs, grills and chill tables. Their service was impeccable, from the moment they arrived the day before through the setup, and then the removal two days later. Perfect in every detail, and no damage to our lawns and gardens. That single experience led to seven more years and a total of 13 events, consistently involving three or four tents and 200 to 300 chairs plus the inflatables and all the other material. This year we are looking forward to one for 200 and one for potentially 400 and have every expectation that they too will be perfect in every way."
"The only glitch we had was in 2009 when we neglected to arrange for a weather guarantee and we were faced with a torrential downpour the morning of the event for 250 and needed a food tent urgently. Sam and Faith met the challenge and magically they arrived and erected the needed tent in time for our guests to be safely protected from the weather. On top of that, they arrange for the sun to appear within two hours and the guests, less footwear, emerged from the tents to enjoy a glorious day on the Eastern Shore."
